Currently, the app library contains more than 50 meditations in total
12 October 2022. Moonly — a mindfulness app with 3M+ users, which combines spiritual practices and a detailed Moon calendar, has launched another major update — now, all meditations are also available in German.
There are over 3,000 scientific studies indicating the benefits of meditation. Studies have involved Buddhist monks who have devoted thousands of hours to meditation and beginners who practice meditation just for 15 minutes each day. In addition to relieving anxiety, meditation helps to unwind, focus, improve concentration and attention, as well as relax the nervous system.

Today, the meditations and content in Moonly are available in English, German, French, Italian, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish. The involvement of linguists and translators has become an integral part of making all of Moonly’s content (including meditations) more accessible to a broader audience.
“On the one hand, fear and anxiety are valuable experiences that help to feel the importance of the moment, turn on defense mechanisms in time and mobilize the emotional reserve. But when natural and temporary anxiety turns into a permanent personality trait, it can have a destructive effect on a person. To prevent this from happening, it’s essential to devote time to meditation, 10-15 minutes a day is more than enough. For beginners, I would recommend starting with meditations on vitality — for example, the Relaxation and Health meditation helps to improve sleep, and the Loving Kindness Meditation from the Contact with Emotions series tunes in to the most healing states for the body — love and forgiveness, as from these states it’s easier to fight heightened anxiety and stress.

Moonly users who have the app installed can already start listening to meditations in German — all they need is to update their account’s language settings in the app itself. New Moonly users can download the app from Google Play or the App Store.
