Magisnat’s story begins in 2006 when the MAGI Group was founded in Italy by Dr. Matteo Bertelli, MD, PhD. The primary mission was to explore Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) using omics sciences. Throughout its research journey, the MAGI Group had the privilege of collaborating with eminent figures, including Nobel laureates Prof. Rita Levi-Montalcini, Prof. Aaron Ciechanover, and Prof. Lucio Luzzatto, a Nobel Prize nominee.
At the core of this story is the legacy of Achille Bertelli, an ancestor of Dr. Matteo Bertelli, who established a company in San Francisco to study natural molecules for disease prevention over a century ago.
The journey of Magisnat began with genomic, metabolomic, and proteomic analyses, aiming to identify and rebalance key mechanisms within the body using natural molecules found in the Mediterranean diet. This led to omics-based studies, focusing on creating targeted dietary supplements to optimize metabolic processes.
Inspired by this legacy, Dr. Matteo Bertelli founded Magisnat at the Atlanta Tech Park in Peachtree Corners, GA, USA.
Dedicated research in OMICS sciences focused on Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) has allowed us to unravel the intricacies of the human body’s major metabolic pathways. Moreover, we’ve identified specific natural compounds found in the typical plants of the Mediterranean diet, including polyphenols, vitamins, and essential microelements. OMICS sciences led us to design dietary supplements, each scientifically formulated at proven concentrations.
Our mission extends beyond supplement formulation. Our OMICS tests are designed for continuous monitoring, assessing the effectiveness of our dietary supplements and their impact on metabolism.
Magisnat Inc. was founded under the visionary leadership of Dr. Matteo Bertelli, President of MAGI’s Lab SRL, on September 8, 2023, and is owned by MAGI’s Lab SRL, our Italian biotechnology powerhouse.
Magisnat OMICS LLC was founded by Magisnat Inc. on September 13, 2023. Both companies have their headquarters at the Atlanta Tech Park, Peachtree Corners, GA, USA.
