We’re on the verge of a culture shift in the sport of hip-hop. For the last few years the sound of rap music has been all too familiar in a way. However, this upcoming artist out of Miami, Florida is proving to be something special. He brings a plethora of talents ranging from music, vocals, writing, narrating, directing, writing and so much more. We’ll just stick to the music for now, as this will most likely be the area where he shines first. Growing up in South, Florida James has seen a lot of different things unfold in his town. Both positive and negative, but he’s used those experiences to shape him into the person and the artist he is today. His family members introduced him to all types of classic musicians of the past such as the Isley Brothers, Luther Vandross, Whitney Houston, Chaka Khan, 2Pac, Nas Outkast and so much more. This inspired him to write and create his own songs, developing his own unique style.
Over the years, James has released numerous projects such as Singles, Albums and EP’s. These releases gave him more experience as a musician to practice and become a seasoned more polished artist. His superb lyrics and rhyme scheme, along with storytelling and vocal harmonizations are just a few of the attributes he has in music. Almost all of his visuals are self directed and edited by none other than him. This shows being behind the boards is important to know how things are put together.
Lately within the last year or so we’ve seen James on the big screen getting his face out there more. Traveling to both Atlanta and North Carolina to be featured on a couple of podcasts. These platforms really helped him out to gain more exposure for his brand and really push his narrative forward. Of the two platforms, one of them being the famous “DJ Small Eyes’ ‘ which has featured some of the biggest celebrities in the entertainment industry.
He says he wants to “Change the way hip-hop is seen, heard and respected nowadays especially from any artist that comes out of south florida. I believe I have the tools and what it takes to change the game”
We are excited to see what he has in store. Whether it be more music, a documentary, or new episode in his web series or even a podcast feature. Pretty soon he will be releasing a highly anticipated album titled “Elements of Life” with fellow Miamian and Producer in ‘Richy B’. These two have worked hard on what seems to be a promising project for the world to see. Keep your eyes on James as he will be remembered as one of the most influential artists of our time. His success is right around the corner and we support him 100%!
